Windows 10 x64.rar 49.0 K. To uninstall VMware Tools from your virtual machine. I was able to resolve by following the resolution highlighted in VMware KB 2034627. Boot the virtual machine into Safe Mode. 14 runs slowly with a system-wide VPN enabled and guests are stuck with black screen.
VMware Communities will not function with this version of Internet Explorer. Please consider upgrading to Internet Explorer 8, 9, or 10, or trying another browser such as Firefox, Safari, or Google Chrome. (Please remember to honor your company's IT policies before installing new software!).
I had it go up to 58% once and then 66% another time. The thing I changed from the first to the second try was the size of the VM. It was before 30gb and then 60gb. However, now I am trying to allocate the disk size of 150gb before booting up the VM. Usually, VMs have the upper limit of, say 80 gb, for Win 8 system install.

But it doesn't fill up that right away. It fills it up as you go. You can ask it to take up all that space initially.
This way VMWare does not have to worry about expanding the virtual disk when necessary. It already has all the space it would ever need. I am trying this right now.
It takes a while to create a 150gb dedicated virtual disk. I will keep you posted.
